Privacy
Your data stays where you put it.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. The Vesper browser sends no usage data and no browsing history to Cyryx Labs.
Last updated 14 October 2026. This page describes the Windows beta now in development; it will be updated, with a new date, before the public beta.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers. Nothing on these pages counts, follows or identifies you, and there is no embedded content from other companies.
- Everything is served from this site. Fonts, scripts and images come from the same server as the page, so no other company learns that you visited.
- The time counter stays in your browser. The line that shows how long you have been on the page is worked out on your device and never sent anywhere.
- What any web server receives. Like every website, the server that hosts this one receives your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's name and version. We do not use this to identify or profile visitors. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which receives these details to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, under its own privacy policy. Cyryx Labs does not collect or keep these server logs, and no Cloudflare analytics are turned on.
Writing to us
If you email contact@vesper-ai.us, we use your address and message only to reply and, if you asked for early access, to send you the beta. We do not sell or share it. Ask us to delete it at any time. We keep it until we have sent you the beta and for up to 12 months after that, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
The Vesper browser
- Nothing about your browsing comes to us. Vesper sends Cyryx Labs no telemetry, usage statistics or browsing history.
- Your library stays on your computer. History, the page text you choose to keep for search, bookmarks, downloads and saved sessions are stored on your device.
- Search goes to the engine you pick. What you type in the address bar is sent to that engine, under its own policy.
- The engine still talks to Google for security updates. The Chromium engine inside Vesper contacts Google servers in the background for certificate and safety lists. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy.
- Blocking lists ship inside Vesper. The ad and tracker lists are part of each version; Vesper does not fetch them from list sites while you browse.
- Websites see what they would see in any browser. Pages you open receive your requests, and blocking reduces but does not remove what they can learn.
- Private tabs keep nothing. No history, no page text, no session restore; cookies live in memory and are deleted with the last private tab. Private does not hide your activity from the sites you visit, your network, your employer or your internet provider.
The assistant and agents
- Off by default. The built-in assistant does nothing until you turn it on and ask.
- What it sends, and to whom. When you ask for a summary, Vesper sends the text you selected (after removing what looks like secrets), the page address without its query and the page title to the provider you chose: OpenRouter, which passes it to the providers of the models it tries, or OpenAI. Each provider keeps data under its own rules. This is not zero retention.
- Training and data collection. With OpenRouter, providers that may keep or train on your text are refused unless you allow them.
- Your key. Your API key is saved in Windows Credential Manager. It is never shown in Vesper's window and never sent to Cyryx Labs.
- Private tabs are invisible to it. Neither the assistant nor connected agents can see private tabs.
- Agents connect only on your computer, only when you allow it. Agent connections are off by default. When on, each agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, needs your approval, as read-only or with control. An agent with control acts in your normal tabs, signed in as you, until you press Stop, which revokes every agent at once. Developer tools that use the Chrome DevTools Protocol get separate tabs and a separate profile.
Who is responsible, and your rights
Cyryx Labs is responsible for this website and for the data described on this page. We use your email address only because you wrote to us: to answer you and to send what you asked for.
Under laws such as the GDPR in the European Union and the LGPD in Brazil, you can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, export it or delete it, or to stop using it. Write to contact@vesper-ai.us; we answer within the time the law sets. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ANPD in Brazil.
